What's tougher? US Coast Guard basic training? Or US Navy basic training?

After going through Army and Coast Guard Recruit Training, and visiting the facilities for the other three, I can say that the easiest PHYSICALLY is Air Force. Of the USN and USCG, the Coast Guard is easier physically by a little bit. HOWEVER, the huge difference is EMOTIONALLY. The Coast Guard puts much more authority and responsibility on the shoulders of our junior enlisted folks, and we MUST know if you can handle stress or if you will fold and crumple. Emotionally/stress-wise, the Coast Guard is MUCH more difficult than ALL of the other services.

Navy.

Out of the Four

1. Marine Corps

2. Army

3 and 4. Navy/Coast Guard (they attend the same training)

5. Air Force

I've heard its the USCG but I have no evidence

Different roles require different training.

An unwritten rule of the Coast Guard is, '' You have to go out - you don't have to come back.''

I was Navy, and my grandmother could have passed Basic training, which is 85% classroom Learning.

Neither

The Coast Guard has more weapon training than the Navy. But not any tougher.
