Is it hard being with someone whom has chrohns disease?

I have a close friend that suffers from this. I don't experience any difficulty nor do I see it within her family. They know what they can eat, what they can't and avoids what she must. Medications prescribed by the doctor help them. This person lives a normal active life and does experience a flare up now and then but usually, it was brought on by ingesting something they knew not to. I was not around for the early stages of diagnosis so that adjustment phase may have been difficult.

No its not but they have to watch what they eat. My brother in law had crohns disease several years ago and eventually had to get part of intestines removed but he now leads a normal life, he did have to get a vitamin K injection every month
