50 years ago world population was 3 billion. Now it’s 7 billion. What are your thoughts on this 🤔?

I think that we'll soon be testing the carrying capacity of the Earth. Luckily, we know that one of the best ways to reduce the number of children that people have (and a way to increase standards of living for an area) is by educating and empowering women. We are also at the point where our technology is advanced enough to seriously start putting colonies on the Moon.

So... we should keep coming up with ways to prolong life and cloning people too. It's not nice to TRY to fool Mother Nature

We shouldn't let it get much higher and the best way to do that is by improving education for girls.

However, consumption-levels in the rich countries are far more of a problem than the 7 billion-number itself

People need to stop having so many kids, feel like if there were a billion of us our quality of life would be much higher.

If I have a child I'm getting my tubes tied after the first one and if it doesn't happen, ah well. :)

Sounds about right.

If the population continues to rise, humans will eat up its food source, and become extinct (just like other animals in the past).

There are 6 billion too many people. Most of them want to get into Western countries to be free loaders. But don't mention that if you want to keep out of jail.
