If I had my permit for a year and Im 18, can I skip the limited license to get my full license?

Im 17 and had my permit for a year and am ready to get my limited provisional license. I turn 18 soon and I wanna wait till then I can get my full license. Can I do that or do I need my limited license first? I live in NC

Depends entirely on the rules for your mystery location.

Once you're 18, the under-18 rules no longer apply to you. They still do when you're 17 years and 364 days old, but they're gone the day after that.

Likely you can, but every State/Province makes their own rules, without knowing that no answer can be complete.
