What is a cheap fast internet service for my laptop ONLY?

Hi, I live in a room, in a house. I do not want to pay for strangers to have fast internet.

Does anyone know a CHEAP fast internet service that will connect ONLY my laptop?

I have dial-up and I can't see things. :( Please help.

    Well you could secure the connection that only you could use it anyway. So basically its not that you get a connection that only works for you. You get the connection & secure it yourself so that only you know the credentials.

    Could look into the ISPs in your area & their plans/rates.

    Make sure to password-protect your Wi-Fi network so your “strangers” won’t be able to get into it.
