Scared I have a spinal cord tumour/ cancer?

For about 5 weeks I’ve had this neck and upper back pain. This pain starts in the bottom of my neck and often spreads to my shoulders.

It really hurts to bend my head down to my chest however it’s been like that pretty much since the pain started.

Whenever I lift something or move my arms above my head or run around a lot the pain becomes worse.

It also hurts to apply presssur to my neck it feels sore and tender.

Pleas help I’m really scared, going to orrow

    Must be another Neurotic American.

    Strained neck and shoulder muscles must be cancer, not strained.

    You need a Physio, not a cancer surgeon.

    If Hypochondria were a sport, you'd be in the Olympics. That has absolutely nothing to do with cancer. Stop being paranoid.

    ...Why did you assume you have a tumor?

    Being in a little pain doesn't automatically mean you must have cancer. That's literally crazy.

    Sounds like a herniated disk in your neck. Very painful. Maybe you can get a nerve block shot.
