Blind wild iguana in my yard and what should I do?
The iguana was originally not in my garden, but my siblings found them and they were released there.
Essentially it looks like the lizard had been attacked by something and can no longer see anymore. It has been in my yard for 2/3 days and is still alive, but did fall in the pool, cause it can't see.
Also my three dogs want to go at it when they see it.
Its about 2 feet long in body (not counting tail) and is a green iguana. I live in South Florida with three dogs and three cats as well as with my mother, her boyfriend, and three young siblings. The adults are not on board with the lizard living inside. I have 2 dog crates for large dogs and a empty 30 gal fish tank.
Should I take it in and help it heal in one of my large dog crate?
Should I leave food and water out?
What should I feed the iguana if I do?

Call a "wildlife rehabilitator" or the DNR. Unless the iguana is small enough for you to keep, he won't be able to find food. In the least, block the dogs from him and feed him. Bring inside if he won't hurt you. Call rehabilitator.
Also, dogs might easily attack it and kill it, outside.
He will starve.

If you take this animal in, he will need his own room. A large lizard like this cannot just sit in a cage, he literally needs his own room like a toddler would. They need a large amount of space to be happy.
I would call local animal control and let them know that this iguana is blind, and you don't know what to do to help him. See if they can get you in contact with a wildlife rehab center that can help him.

Call an animal rescue or relocate it to a lake/canal area. We have plenty of those here.
