Period is going on longer than usual?

On the 22nd I got my period back after a year of not having one. I went to my ob and she gave me Provera and I took it for 10 days. I am not on my 6th Day of cramps and heavy period, my period is usually 5 days long. Should I go back to see ob or wait it out

Did your doctor tell you how long they expected your period to be?

You have a year's worth of endometrium buildup, its going to take a while to get that out of you.

Call your doctor and ask if this is normal, or if it is something you should worry about
