Is suicide selfish?

I heard it is.

Suicide. You might be very disappointed what is on the other side. You did not create yourself. If nothing seems like life isn't worth living then emerse yourself in helping others. Volunteer your time,be of service. This is where suicide is considered selfish. We all can give of ourself to help someone else.

I think you are right

I don't think it's selfish. Or I just can't call it that, because a person who is suicidal is very broken. I know, because I was there at one point. You don't care who you may hurt, you are so focused on the pain you feel, and it's terrifying. You don't even have control over it.

But what I did was I started thinking about it this way. Yes, you may be taking away the pain for yourself, but you are then giving that pain to someone else. There is someone out there who will miss you and it will hurt like hell.

Not if you have a terminal illness or are murder.

yeah its selfish. other people have put effort into you and for you to just throw it away is a waste and would probably hurt them.
