Most overrated Beatles song IYO?

IMHO I consider "Hey Jude" to be their most overrated song of their career, I cannot stand the part where they constantly sing "Na na na na na Hey Jude" during the section half of the song.

So the coda ending to "Hey Jude" is repetitive. Nothing in their catalog is more redundant or meaningless, however, than "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?"

She loves you, but pretty much everything they ever did was overrated just like them.

I agree with you. It never struck the same chord with me that it apparently did with so many others when it was released and sat at #1 on the US singles chart for nine weeks.

Overrated is anything you don't like, and guess what, I couldn't care less what you like

It's definitely not one of their best songs they have done, there are many other Beatles songs I like better than "Hey Jude"

  • It's called a coda. Few pop songs have one which is probably why you don't understand it.
