So chevy cruze 2014 gas cap left opened in the morning, full tank of gas?

So looked like someone tried to jack my gas during the night. Still have a full tank, no signs of sugar outside the car or near the gas cap....only a bit of liquid. Does chevy cruze have some anti siphoning tool or did they get caught before draining me?

Update:

So I stuck a tube down myself, looks like theres a screen between the gas tank and filler tube in case anyone in the future would like to know. So your gas is safe and no need for a gas cap lock. Those all use the same keys anyway

    Buy a locking gasoline cap. They are cheap.
