Can spray foam insulation adhere to plastic?

    sort of, it's kinda like a glue, but not many glues adhere to plastic well unless they're made for it.

    yes, but not enough to make it possible to exert much force on the foam insulation.

    2 Part spray foam should, 1 part can foam probably will, but not for very long. Even 2 part will probably later fall of rather easily if messed with much. Left undisturbed it should stick pretty well for quite some time.

    What kind of "plastic"? It will readily adhere to PVC,ABS, acrylics, polycarbonate, most vinyls and vinyl esters. It does not adhere well to phenolics or epoxies with a heavy carbon fibre content.

    Yes. It is very sticky.
