That's is like saying that a pancake and a waffle are the same. The cooking technique makes them quite different.

A quesadilla is made with a tortilla and contains more than just cheese. It is not fried in butter.

A grilled cheese is made with bread and cheese and is fried.

  • The amount of grease in the pan.

    It isn't flour, cheese.

It is flour, butter or oil, and cheese.

A tortilla is not a yeast risen bread.

Both great for what they are. I do enjoy both. (Or either since I do not have both at the same time. )

well a flour tortilla is just that...it can be used for many things and a quesadilla can be made from corn tortillas (i have to eat those cause of my gluten allergy, having allergy to gluten sucks by the way) and a grilled cheese is made out of bread and not a tortilla....there are many differences. But here's the real question: WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPAGHETTI AND LASAGNA??????

The bread, one uses tortillas and the other uses sandwich bread.
