Would you divorce your spouse if you thought your spouse was uptight?
My wife has never told me explicitly that she thinks I am uptight. She has said that I worry too much and need to relax. She has also said that she is careful about what she says to me because sometimes I overreact. I admit that I am a bit tightly wound sometimes, but does that lead to divorce?

This alone wouldn’t be a reason for divorce bro.
If your wife hasn’t said that (or acted like) she’s about to divorce you, then I wouldn’t worry about it.
If she IS wanting to divorce you, then it’s probably more along the lines of she met a hotter/richer man. This small potatoes thing probably didn’t even factor into it
Conclusion: Should you work on yourself and fix this? Yes. Should you do it now? Yes. However, should you worry that it leads to divorce? No, definitely not by itself.
But, many small problems can add up, which is why you should always work to improve yourself in many aspects of life

Yes you have to be able to be free around your spouse. Otherwise it’s just like being around other people.

If you know its a problem and don't do anything about it, it might lead there. So why not discuss with your wife how its affecting your relationship and how to go about it to turn it down so it doesn't any more.
If you two can't work it out between you counseling might help.

NO, i just tell her she is going to have to have a lot more sex with you to keep you from getting so tightly wound. It's all her fault.

Depends. Are you any fun? Dependability is great and all that but... after a few decades (or less), having FUN starts getting real important again.
