If the government shut down on February 15th should all federal workers just NOT show up?

That almost happened today at several airports.

It's time for Americans to protest like the French. If the government is going to be incompetent, then shut it all down.

    Yes and that is not a strike. Workers signed a contract to work and in return to get paid by the government. If the government breaks the contract by not paying them, Trump can't Ronnie Reagan them.

    It was the Air traffic delays at the airports that pressured Republicans to stop their shut down. So not showing up would be a great strategy.
