Sandy Hook and Columbine both had gun free zones. Will liberals ever wake up and realize criminals don't pay attention to such things?

All so the Bank at SunTrust in Florida. Gee I wonder why can 't people just follow the law. Banks, schools, court, churches are all gun free zone. But they are the only places that get shoot up? I wonder if we just remove the sign if shooting would stop.

I beg to differ. Criminals do pay attention to such things. Many of them have sought out gun free zones to commit their crimes. They knew they would not face anyone with a gun before they could do massive damage. Having a gun free zone is an open invitation to every nut who wants to do as much damage as possible without being quickly stopped.
You will never see a sign on anyone's house that says we are wealthy and unarmed. Protected by a distant force that when seconds count will be here in minutes to hours depending on where you live.
We have many guns in the US and many freedoms. We did not get our freedom with pretty words or by being defenseless. Guns will not go away. All the laws against drugs and yet they are everywhere. Prohibition did not stop people from drinking. The solution is simple. If you want to be unarmed move to a state that has strict gun laws. If you want to be armed move to a state with few gun laws. Don't try to force others to live the way you want.

Trump doesn't follow the Constitution. We know that criminals don't follow the law. But you don't cure cancer by adding more cancer.
How many criminals use machine guns or grenade launchers in their crimes? Virtually never happens. That's because machine guns and grenade launchers are banned from normal civilian sale. They're very very difficult to get. Same thing would happen with gun crimes if guns were difficult to obtain.
There are more deaths in the US from just accidental discharges than there are from all gun related activities in Japan. Gun control works.

They actually completely pay attention to those things. They "target" those things, because they know nobody there will be armed to stop them...

When will gun addicts ever wake up and realize that they are the problem?
I am a multiple gun owner myself, but that does not blind me to the obvious truth that not every person should be given access to a serious weapon. There are some people who are just too crazy to be trusted, and others who have no idea how to use one without hurting themselves or some other person.
How about we start by requiring every new gun owner to provide proof they have passed a recognized gun safety course? The NRA could offer one, providing it with a clean income source that does not leave it endebted to the arms manufacturers. Now add a background check that would deny weapons to unstable or proven criminal individuals. That alone would make it much harder for the unsafe and untrustworthy without affecting our right to bear arms.
Those two things are what makes the difference between Canada and the USA, that and accessible health care. I get so tired of being behind the Canadians in social progress.

Hmm... they seem to pay attention in every developed nation that has effective gun control and lower homicide rates than the US.
You can’t have a nation that has almost no restrictions on gun ownership with islands of gun free zones. Guns need to be throttled at the source.
And before you go all 2A ThEy DuN gOnNa TaKe ArE gUnZ aWaY most nations with strict gun laws score higher on the freedom index than the US—which scores as a broken democracy and would eliminate any organized resistance with drone strikes should it ever come to that.

They do pay attention. They pick places where they can attack without resistance. This isn't going to convince any left wingers. A good place to start would be that Australia has more guns now than when their last massacre happened. Guns shouldn't be an identity politics issue, it should be a safety issue. Women fending off rapists, defending yourself from robbery or attempted murder, but also defending our children. Guns aren't the problem with human nature, gun violence is just a symptom. We need to change the culture. Gangsters and other killers should be mocked, not celebrated.

Will Conservative ever wake up to the fact that there should be some common sense gun laws and quit letting the NRA and gun manufactures dictate how many people get slaughtered for no reason every year in the US?

What, exactly, do you mean? Virtually (and I mean EVERY other country - yes, not even in South Africa, which is 'bleck' [am I wrong?] people like you demonise) in the world has not had this problem, and some of those countries are VERY gun-friendly. Can you explain how this ONLY happens in the US? Really, the US is 5%of the world's population.
