That is how socialism works, exactly what the dems want in our country, their agenda of a free country is gone.they want very poor people living off government aid so they can control you.. not what america stands for nor what we fought for.

This is typical for socialism. It has never worked. Last century, 1900 to 2000 over 100 million died under socialism. They either starved to death or were killed by their own government's troops.

Try getting one of our liberal friends to admit that Venezuela is a Democratic Socialist Republic. The poor kids have gone like beyond totally silent on the subject. Sad.
The Vennies are starving because they've run out of other people's money. The Chinese have cut them off. The Russians only wanted to sell them arms. The Cubans have no money. The Socialists in Venezuela have porked the national oil company to the point where it's hardly producing oil anymore.
It would be sad if the gross incompetence wasn't so damm laughable. Even the Cubans are complaining that the Vennie Socialists won't listen. I swear, sports fans, you simply cannot make this chit up.
And you liberal children hanging here on YAP-YAP? Yeah, you know who you are, kids, so listen up. THREE MILLION Venezuelans have fled their own country while they could still get out. So yuk it up all you want, kids, but when Socialism comes for YOU, you ARE NOT going to like it. Now go pick up your rooms!

Because their president is a dictator, and their economy collapsed because they pinned everything on oil production. Then oil prices dropped and they didn't have a Plan B; their economy wasn't diversified enough to withstand such a blow to their primary industry.
