If your heart is skipping a beat, it is called a irregular heart beat, palpitations means your heart is beating fast such as 150 beats or more a minute.

I get irregular heart beat many times a day and have done so for years, my heart specialist told me not to worry about it, strange thing is, I was once in hospital attached to a heart monitor when my heart started missing a beat, but it didn't show up on the monitor, I told the nurse and she said the same as my doctor, don't worry about it your hearts still beating, so now I don't take any notice of it.

You said it yourself. You're a hypochondriac. Have the tests done. When it all comes back ok, GET OVER IT AND YOURSELF!!

im 16, ive spoken to my pediatrician about this and they set up an appointment with a cardiologist 2 months after the appointment (its in march). I think they think it is just anxiety if they are making me wait 2 months. I am a huge hypochondriac. Im sorry i keep asking about heart palpitations whamen its always the same answer
