If I take an elective class?
A community college elective class will I take longer to graduate or will I still be on the same progress. I want to take only one elective class by the way and I will be taking three classes that aren’t electives.

Well, you can look at it this way. An AA degree is normally 60 semester credit hours and takes four semesters if you go full-time. (Some professional / technical programs may be slightly more than sixty credits).
So the assumption is that you take 15 credits per semester because 15 X 4 = 60. That means taking five classes. If you take less than five classes per semester, it will take longer for you to graduate.

It depends. If you are planning on taking a certain number of units towards transfer/your associates each semester, and you do those + an elective, you should still be on track. You will just have to take more units and budget your time differently.
