Do you ever get lost when you're driving round?
How to deal with that? I think they have some modern gadgets to stop that, but that stuff is hard to know and I think not everybody can doing that? I heard there are people who got lost back in the 1980s who are still driving round looking for their house? If they forgot where they live then how to getting home?

No. As a man, I've alway used maps and now I use my car's navigation system or Google Maps on my phone. Men also use mileage, street names, and addresses. Women tend to use landmarks more, which is less precise and often leads to confusion and mistakes -- "Go a little ways and turn at the green house" What is a "little ways"? How far is the green house? Is it a right or left turn? Is that the ONLY green house? Wouldn't it be simpler to say, "Go 2 miles and turn right on Johnson Street."?

Road maps, ask direction at a gas station or ask the police. GPS Shucks and can really get you lost if there is road destruction involved.

NO - because, I ALWAYS carry paper maps with me. If I know the area - then I just head towards a street I know and then go from there.

That's part of the fun of driving! You find the most interesting places when you're lost, off the beaten path and looking for a way to get home again.

YES! I recently moved to a different state and enjoy driving around checking things out. At times I'm not sure where I'm at. I pull up google maps on my phone and say 'home', instant, accurate directions are provided.

A compass mounted inthe dash by the car manufacturer is ideal. Do not buy a car without one.

I think most of us navigate by landmarks. I haven't read anything about it but that's the way all my friends work.
I had a roommate once who took me to his mom's home, the house where he grew up. You turn off the main road, he said, at this yellow house. Someday they're going to paint that house a different color and then I won't be able to find my way home.
Also after th bombing of Hiiroshima, it was reported that a lot of people couldn't find where their houses used to be because every building in the neighborhood had been flattened, so there were no landmarks.
I get lost sometimes in the rain. The windshield gets a little foggy and everything looks the same outside in the wet, in the dark. What I do is to drive around (or in a straight line) until I see something that looks familiar. Then I know where I am, and I know how to get home from there. That is, I USED to do that before I got a smartphone. 8^)
