PDF f(x) = 1/ (b-a) = 1/ (90-40) = 1/50
CDF F(x) = (x-a)/ (b-a) = (x-40)/50
CDF P(x< X) = (x-40)/50
so less than 50
P(x< 50) = (50-40)/50 = 10/50 = 1/5
2. More than 70
P(x>70 ) = 1- P(x<70)
P(x>70) = 1 - (70-40)/50 = 1 -3/5 = 2/5
3. between 45 and 75)
P( 45<x<75 )= P(x< 75) - P(x<45) = (75-40)/50 - ( 45-40)/50
P( 45<x<75 )= 35/50 -5/50 = 30/50 = 3/5
