Suppose that the value of a stock varies each day from $12.22 to $45.34 with a uniform distribution. Given that the stock is greater than $22, find the probability that the stock is more than $32. Give your answer accurate to four decimal places.

    Conditional probability:

    P(A|B) = P(A&B) / P(B)

    P(>32 | >22) = P(>22 & >32) / P(>22)

    P(>32 | >22) = P(>32) / P(>22)

    P(>32 | >22) = [ (45.34 - 32) / (45.34 - 12.22) ] / [ (45.34 - 22) / (45.34 - 12.2) ]

    P(>32 | >22) = (45.34 - 32) / (45.34 - 22)

    P(>32 | >22) = 0.5716
