The slope of a line indicates how ____ the line is.?

Please fill in the blank. I want to say slanted but I feel like that s incorrect. Thanks in advance.

    Steep.

    It matters not about the direction of the slope (positive vs. negative), but rather the absolute value of it. The smaller the absolute value, generally you will see an increasingly flatter slope until the point you have a purely horizontal slope -- a zero slope. The greater the absolute value, the steeper the slope until you have a purely vertical line, which has an undefined slope.
