Lakers Bad luck?

Ever since the Lakers left free TV in LA and took the huge Time Warner money deal, they have had losing seasons.

Is there a connection ? A curse of the Time Warner money ?

From Forbes, “In 2011 the Los Angeles Lakers signed the richest local television rights deal in the NBA. The 20-year contract with Time Warner Cable included the launch of two new regional sports networks –one English and one Spanish channel – and averages $200 million a year for a total worth of $4 billion.Jan 22, 2014”

More like kowtowing to Kobe Bryant for four years rather than planning for the future kind of luck.
