I have $5 in apple store credit but it keeps telling me i dont have enough store credit to buy an in app purchase ($4.99)?

    Because they are charging you taxes on the purchase, which puts the purchase over $5.

    There's a sales tax that needs to be paid which is more than the 1 cent you have remaining on your account after you make your purchase.
