Yes, yes and yes! I've owned this breed for nearly 35 years and use to show and breed, although I haven't bred a litter since the late 1990's and haven't shown since I believe it was around 2004. I currently own an almost 9 year old red/rust b*tch who was never shown and never bred. Why did I choose this breed for all these years? Please read the description on the DPCA website, and that's why.

I don't know that I'm a fan, but I don't dislike them. One lives next door to me. Aside from being somewhat jumpy it appears to be a good pet.

i like them very much id love to have one, one day .
Though currently also it`s not possible or practical as i have two working sheepdogs and ewes and lambs on the ground. Perhaps one day though who knows

Yes, they're actually the only big dog I've ever admired. My guess is they never became popular because they are linked to rich people. I have a Pomeranian & people get the same attitude. Like only rich people are supposed to own one.

I lived in a place where someone had a Doberman, years ago. It was really the coolest dog! VERY friendly and sweet-natured, and apparently very intelligent for a dog. They look scary but this one wasn't at all. Plus, being a short-hair, he didn't leave a trail of shed hair everywhere he went.

No I'm not. I don't like pit bulls or chow-chows either. But I love the rest of them, especially the mutts.
