How Many Types Of Motorcycles Have You Owned/ridden?
Was just thinking of all the bikes I've owned over the years, thought about asking others.
Here's my list-
Started by riding on the back of my uncle's HD at 9 yo.
Rebuilt a home-made dirt-scoot with a B&S engine at 13.
First new bike- Honda Super 90.
A Greeves 360 Challenger (fun bike).
A stripped-drop Yamaha enduro 250.
Rebuild a Hodoka (sp) 125.
A Sachs 175.
A Husky 250.
A KTM 250
3 or 4 Yamaha YZ 250s.
A Kawie 450 twin.
A BMW 650 GS.
A pristine '80 Honda 650, close to showroom.
A '70 Triumph 500 Tiger.
Present bikes are a Yamaha YZ 450F and a Triumph Tiger 955i.
May have left out a few.
Have borrowed a few bikes from friends to race road-track, don't remember all of them but do remember the tracks, twice at Lagona Seca and three times a Willows Springs.
All a greaqt time.

I've ridden, 750cc Norton 250cc, Royal Enfield sports, 125cc BSA. The only thing I owned was a 50cc NSU Quickly Moped in 1960. ;-)

I use some of my motorcycle models and sizes as passwords so I will not post those.
Safe to say the worst was a CZ125 (what did I expect?) and one of the best an April RS250.

Vespa scooter (underage) Kawasaki 85 (horrible bike), Kawasaki F3TR (even worse), CB175 K1, CB350 K1, Suzuki Stinger 125, TX500A Yam (unreliable), CB400/4 (nice), BMW 750/6 (not good round town), Kawa S4 triple (scary), GS850 ,CB750 71 & K3, CB360 (boring), CB350 K1 (again), CX500, CX650 & VT 250 Spada.
Also ridden two Nortons, A WLA , James 250, Electroglide (2 wheeled truck), Yam XS1 & 2, Aerial Red ( Hunter twin (very unreliable), AJS 350 single, Panther Sloper, Suzuki Rotary (weird), MV 125
I seem to have a liking for mid range Honda twins. Now minus bike - no time to ride it & due to stiffness in back uncomfortable in traffic as I cant see behind me properly any more.

Started Suzi 80, then honda 154cc expresway legal, Suzi T500, 1954 FL, harley, 1966 and 1968 sporty, then back to 1949 FLE with a 1937 UL project that got fired up , 5 miles and traded. R69 that didn't mess clutch or drop chains, R50/2 from chicago police impound after a smash by stolen car- insurance deal favor for couple hundred, got to salvage shelves, some other peoples bits and pieces, had on road 2 weeks later to sunday morning breakfast meet, hunted for proper parts that season and road 3 seasons while speed limit was 55 mph main highways- 250 miles between gas station coming back from Falling leaf rally in rain and snowing when crossed border to Wisconsin , 2 little 175 hondas from trading- a make 2 into one ran as trainer, little 100 cc Honda got a .040 over piston and was beginner bike for girlfriend . A 250 X6 Suzi for next step training but got a couple speeding tickets myself. 400 Yamaha thumper for use on farm, gravel roads 750/5 BMW until unleaded gas was warned about valve seat erosion , then got the 2 Goldwings 1975 and 1978- still have 1978 in storage, still have some snow on ground. BSA for a season, tapped police car when brakes backing plate rear broke- told to get out of town and kill myself someplace else where officer wouldn't have paperwork- this after being asked about having brakes, reaching into saddlebags and pulling out broken parts. Got another 1966 BSA chopper in trade for VW bus- chopper had been pulkled over by police and equipment tickets so not legal to ride, threat to impound while old VW Bus actually had some heat in back, could be slept in. That chopper is getting back on road in Iowa as of late last summer. .current is CM400 honda, 650 Suzi, and 1978 Goldwing- all were run in past 3 years, insured and will be on road soon as insurance paid- or at least one probably 650 Suzi since cancer treatment makes legs weak and Gold Wing might be called leadwing. A little scooter Yamaha ca50 fixed up for choir director in church, she gave it to me after son said since he had just gotten drivers license he could do errands for her- what kind of trouble could he get in? She said flash back for the year she had it first - father working night shift sometimes NO WAY was son going to get access to little scooter that was hard to see when pushed other side of fence. amusing little critter and it did good for real beginner start, stop, turn around feet up students- deacon/husband of choir director used it as a run around couple months when short of cars. 14 year old girl will get some lessons on it this summer maybe. Family has some others, Brother had a 1954 FL police special with speedometer hold to show speeders, Ex Eagle Bike. 360 Honda trail was used on farm. a old Cushman scooter and Harley topper scooter a Harley super 10/165 2 stroke owned by neighbors

Looks like you started early... bought a broken ninja 250 when I was 17 and ridden those ever since.. 3 of them from 99-07 years. Ridden a magna 750 and rebel 250 but those weren’t mine. Also had a Chinese moped that caught on fire and burned to the ground. That thing was great fun

None at all.
Hope that helps......
