Wisdom teeth surgery after effects.I would like information about what the long term affects could be.?

I got wisdom tooth surgery done over a year ago. And after the fact I found out I had paralysis on the right side of my tongue. It took over a year before I could get taste back on that side. Even today that side of my tongue still is tingly. That’s not my worry though anymore. Now recently I’ve noticed my jaw is acting different and. I’m not sure if it could be an affect of the surgery. But the left side of my jaw a few days ago cracked or felt like it. And it hurt and my bite was off for three days. A couple days after that the right side of my jaw I did the same thing but it felt more out of place and got better within a day. I’m not sure if that’s something serious or not. Obviously I know I’m going to go talk to my dentist or orthodontist but would like some insight if anybody has any.

Sounds like temporomandibular joint syndrome. This is (1) very common (2) easy to fix by using a "night guard" and (3) probably unrelated to your wisdom teeth. Your dentist should be able to fix you up.
