Is there a way to open the hatchback on my 2010 Jetta when the battery is dead?

    Pretty sure they had a key bypass. Maybe behind the license plate? Push down on the hatch(against the rubber) to make the latch release release easier...needing less power. Maybe you still got enough power to click it open.
