My early 08 MacBook won't start. The power light comes on for a few seconds then goes out. I tried re seating the RAM but it didn't help.?

The screen stays blank and there is no sound. Battery fully charged.

    This usually means the power supply has gone bad.

    Given that it is a 10 year old MacBook you have had good use from it. You could try a local repairer but it may be uneconomic to repair, and even then something else may well fail
