Hysterectomy details? How do I get one? (Canada)?
I m an asexual, aromantic, single woman who doesn t EVER want children. I may only be 23 years old, but stop telling me that I ll change my mind. The thing is, I m sick of menstruation and I know that a hysterectomy stops menstruation from ever happening again. This isn t even a matter of birth control because I m a sex-repulsed virgin. What would I need in order to get a hysterectomy in Canada (Alberta) if I don t actually have any problems with my uterus?

You probably won't, TBH. It's major surgery with all the risks that entails, it has a pretty big range of side effects when performed on a healthy premenopausal woman, there are several other options to stop menstruation that are less invasive and risky, and *any* sterilization procedure has a big rate of people who change their minds later which makes doctors leery of performing it. Seriously, just google "vasectomy reversal" or "tubal ligation reversal." Super popular procedures. There's no reversing a hysterectomy.
If you want to pursue this, act mature and responsible. Seek out a sterilization-friendly doctor. Lay out your reasons in a rational way for them. Ask that your request be noted in your records. Keep asking. They'll be more likely to go for it if it doesn't seem like a whim of someone who hasn't done her research.

I suppose it's POSSIBLE, that if you search hard enough, and are willing to pay the full cost out of pocket, you could probably find an unethical doctor who is willing to perform completely unnecessary and potentially harmful surgery on you for no reason at all.

NO Dr will do that.
You will be given the option of hormonal birth control to regulate and skip periods

No doctor would do full hysterectomy for that reason and if they did you would have an early menopause, they would only do one at your age if you have cervical or ovarian cancer, ask doctor about getting sterilised then you wont get pregnant

You can't. It's as simple as that.
And you might change your mind, plenty of people as adamant as you do.

no qualified doctor would ever do one of those on you for the reasons you said in your question
