What is the easiest way to put on a steering wheel cover?

I've been trying to put it on for the last hour now.

Mine took me about 5 minutes to put on. I got it at the dealer. It does not slip around on the steering wheel while driving. I could not find one the right size at any parts store or department store. Take the time to slowly bend yours onto the wheel a little bit at a time. If you couldn't get it on in an hour, my feeling is it's the wrong size. exchange it for another one. Measure your wheel. Good luck.

If it's taking you that long, something is wrong. Maybe it's too small. Assuming you bought it at an auto parts store, I would take it back there and ask them. Then you can get the right size, if you need to.

Is it the correct diameter for your steering wheel?

First, make sure it's the right size. There are various steering wheel diameters. If it's correct, and is a vinyl cover, heat it gently with a hair-drier until it is pliable enough to stretch into place, then let it cool.

Just surrender, and take it an upholstery shop. There has to be a trick to it, but I don't know what it is. Sorry! :)
