Difference between regular, promotional and account review inquiries on credit report from TransUnion?
Between the three breakdowns, there are some that I don't recognize. What are the difference between these three and of the three categories which do I need to take action to fix if I didn't do them?
Also, the last category is tabbed "Inquiry Analysis" and I don't recognize it either.
Thanks.

You don't need to take any action.
Promotional is one that doesn't matter from a company that is deciding whether or not to send you a "pre-approved" offer. Account review" is one that doesn't matter from a company where you don't have an account. These are not ones that you did. These are ones that the companies did on their own, and they don't matter.
Regular ones are done by you, and they are the only ones that matter.

All I know is hard pulls can hurt your score and soft cannot. But If they show at all, they can't be soft I don't think.
Account review means they firm is checking your credit as part of their normal procedures, not a new account.
You can't fix it, they have the right to check your credit periodically.
Ive never seen one that said promotional.
