    use = y = a sin(x+p). p is the shift

    Compare it. a= -2, p=60

    y=-2 sin (x+60). We can take - sign inside

    y = 2 sin(x+60+pi)= 2 sin(x+240) This should be the answer. If you want to add period, then write

    y= 2 sin (kx +240)

    The above equation is in space. You can write it in time as

    y = 2 sin(w t +240). w=2 pi /30. This will do. You can do the next problems.
