When was the last time you've been inside a K-mart and how did it make you feel?

i didnt see many people and the atmosphere was like dead

Years; IDK exactly. Did my farts have more worth then asking about some chain store?

Two summers ago right before the store closed.

I was in Kmart a few weeks ago looking for water containers prior to taking an interstate trip. I was pleasantly surprised to find a recyclable container with tap, also containing 8 litres of spring water for only $4. After buying it found that the water in the places we visited was no longer such a poor quality, so we really didn’t need it after all. Still it was very nice water.

The store itself was brightly lit, a bit cold and had the cash registers in the middle of the store. Still don’t see the logic in placing the cash registers there.

The last time for me was about 5-6 years ago. And that was only because the local K-Mart was closing and my mom wanted to see if there was anything worth getting. Even before it was closing, it felt gloomy and as if the employees didn't really care about their job nor the store. As far as I can remember, it was never really a "nice" store. Even in the early to mid-2000s, as a kid, I noticed that it was dirty, old, and not well maintained.

Oddly enough, the local Sears is still somehow open.Though, they seem to only focus on mattresses, home appliances, some clothes, and some tools. It looks like they eliminated their entire electronics department. They instead used all of that space where the TVs where to show mattresses. The only "electronics" they have is a very small selection of DVD movies.

Just the other day. Believe it or not, kmart is very popular in my country because it's an economical store in an expensive country.

I felt strange because even though it hadn't changed much the electronics section ( where I had spent my time there as a kid back when demos were still a big thing) was all but gone only things that were left were the case where the games used to be kept (now empty) 5 shelves of electronics and the tv row
