Is using aluminum foil in a toaster oven ok or lining them is wrong cause that effects the heat? So I read?

Hell mini aluminum pans are sold for toaster ovens.

    It's OK, but if you are covering the middle rack (where you toast bread) the bottom element won't toast the bottom of the bread. It becomes a broiler oven.

    I've never lined one but I use foil when I bake potatoes in my toaster oven without problems and been doing it for years.
