Honesty I think that that is okay! It's not your fault that you need it! You won't be eating any else that comes from animals but cheese and that's better than most of the world! As a vegetarian I think its okay!

I'm not sure what health condition requires you to eat cheese, but sure, go ahead and eat it. You'll be vegetarian, not vegan, but what does it matter?
Are you looking for validation from randos on Yahoo? Big mistake.
You should do what you want to do, eat what you want to, and feel good about it.

That makes you a vegetarian which is not vegan and is fine if that's your choice and or health needs. What's not fine is if you be THAT militant guy who's from the school of thought of the straight edge punk rock vegan kids and dosen't even know what that is. Or if you're that guy who said he was vegan and ate meat and swore that he was still vegan no matter how many people said otherwise.

It's okay, but then you can't call yourself vegan. You choose which you want more.

If you're a vegetarian and want to become a vegan, you will need to give up cheese, otherwise you can not call yourself as vegan. Also it would not be ok under the principles of what vegans believes in. Cheese in and of itself, NOT essential to human health. It does have some definitive health benefits. You may have to settle for being a lacto-vegetarian if that's what's necessary for you to be healthy.
If there is one key thing to remember, that is there is no such thing as a one diet, that will work for everyone.
