A, does she really need a last name at all? I've read dozens of books where a character's last name was never mentioned, or missed.
B, if she does need one, what do you mean by a 'good' one? Define 'good' for these purposes.

Does she really need a last name? is it relevant to the story, will it ever be used? if not then don't worry.
Also there's no such thing as a 'good last name.' If you have to have one, Smith or Jones will do, a Chinese or Italian one (unless they fit your story) probably won't.

Don't worry about the last name now. Just keep writing. You can refer to her as Serena X for the time being and add in her last name later.
