Advice on coping with Wellbutrin XL?

The first few days I was wired, not tired at all and jittery (plus diarrhea). Now I'm like a zombie, struggling to move even a little (and still have diarrhea). Hit it's worst this morning after I had started my car. I woke up with my head on the steering wheel, still nervous about what would have happened if I started driving.

Some people suggest taking it at night, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears. Yes, this is a "rare" side effect but a quick search seems to indicate that it isn't as rare as companies suggest. Only on 150 right now.

Hi and sorry for my English, I am from Argentina. I have taken Wellbutrin and I know thats its very stimulating to some people, but in my case after a month I started to feel sleepy after taking the medication. Then I switched to a brand that is not XL, (dont know the brands in America), here it is called Odranal, and the meditation gave me a lot of energy but also I felt pretty nervous and had to take clonopin.

I would suggest to talk to your psychietrist to see if you change to other formulation (maybe wellbutrin SR) to see if it keeps you awake. The XL means that the pill lasts the whole day and the SR is like a faster formula, but last least in your system.

Anyway talk to your doctor. And about taking it can be an option, but the drug is used in depressions to lift you up and improve your energy, its useless to take it at night. If you want me to tell you more about my personal experience, feel free to write, I apologize for my English, just wanted to share my opinion

Good luck and call your doctor before any change

    Saludos

See your doctor about this soon. When I took it, it was way too stimulating for me so I was moved to another med and it was much better.
