The molarity of pure water is the density of water divided by the molecular weight: [(1.00 grams / mL) * (1000 mL / 1 L)] / (18.015 grams / mole) = ~ 55.5 moles / L = ~ 55.5 M. How do you have a top user badge and not know this?
