I had multiple teeth extracted on Wednesday and no immediate denture. Will it take longer for my gums to heal?

That really depends on condition of your gum is. For me, I had a wisdom tooth removed one day. An hour later after it was removed, my painkiller wore off(no longer numb) but there was no pain. Stopped bleeding and my gum wasn't swollen. So I ate my lunch with my family as usual. My mom said "Didn't your dentist just extracted your wisdom tooth not long ago???".
I hear most of the people are in pain for lot longer than that and even have fever sometimes. Nothing like that happened to me. So you could be fine, you could be in pain, you won't know it till you find out..
