Pompeo's marginally better since he has some experience in foreign policy - but he is not an "A-lister." Almost everyone in Trump's cabinet is/was either an ideologue, incompetent, crook, or gone.

Pompino watched as Russia invaded Venezuela in December 2018 and did nothing. Little Bolton did the same but he warned Russia to knock it off. Unfortunately, every month of 2019 the Russians have been building up a military base in Venezuela while Donald denies it is even happening.
