Let's say I want a hot dog for lunch and someone offers me a soy dog (which I don't like), is it rude of me to refuse to eat it?

Update:

Also would it be rude of me to say that I don't like soy dogs?

No. The food a person takes into their mouth and body is a very personal choice.

Don't worry more about being rude than what you put in your body!

No, and it's not rude to turn down a date. Just don't throw it on the ground or spit in their face.
