I forgot to take my pill yesterday so I took it at the same time that I took my pill today. Will my period be messed up? Will I get sick?

no, in fact you did exactly what you are supposed to do if you forget to take a dose

It is unlikely to cause any issues. If you are very sensitive to the hormones you could potentially have some nausea, but that would be unlikely.
As Warren noted, taking 2 pills at once is what you are supposed to do if you miss a pill
