    (a) r=6

    =>

    sqr(x^2+y^2)=6

    =>

    x^2+y^2=36

    It is a circle of radius=6;

    with the center at (0,0).

    (b)r=2cosA (A=theta)

    =>

    r^2=2x

    =>

    x^2+y^2=2x

    =>

    x^2-2x+1-1+y^2=0

    =>

    (x-1)^2+y^2=1

    It is a circle of radius=1;

    with the center at (1,0).
