poll: braces pain help?

Update:

i got braces two days ago and the pain is so so so so so so so so so so so bad all my teeth are like sore when i slightly touch a tooth it hurts so bad and i cried so much it hurts so bad the pain is not decreasing at all i tried pain killers and they did not help

    It will be like this for about a week, then it will all settle down, Keep takin 2 paracetamol every 4 hours which will help. They will always hurt a little whenever you have them tightened up, but the worst is over
