I think I fried my laptop?
I have an Acer nitro 5, the other day I plugged in a USB and when I pulled it out, it pulled out the little plastic part that is supposed to be in the port, today I went to plug in my charger without looking and the tip of my charger touched that particular USB port and seems to have completely fried my computer instantly... Is there anything I can do? Was expensive and I really need my computer

Isn't your laptop still in its warranty period. If not, then you have a problem. All you could possibly save from it is the HDD and RAM. If the mainboard is "fried" then it'll need to be replaced and that's the most expensive part of the laptop. Check the warranty period and then consult your nearest PC repair centre.
Hope it works out.

Try waiting couple of days then it might work again.or go to maker and troubleshoot or something or get it replaced if it's still under warranty

Get a repair shop estimate for a new motherboard, or junk that faulty laptop.

Next time you have something expensive that you need you'll take proper care of it, won't you!

You could try opening it up, disconnecting the battery and later just try running off of the wall socket but probably fried.
