  • Are there differences in protection among safety glasses?

My dad got a saw from Kobalt tools for super cheap back when he worked at Lowes and the saw has served well but recently I was looking for some safety glasses and remembered one came in that box. I figure they probably throw the cheapest pair in the box just to add value but that got me wondering. Are all safety glasses equally safe and it is just the frame and shape that defines quality? Or would I be less safe using these than a higher quality name brand?

  • Anyway to get Oakley prescription sunglasses through insurance?

I mainly only wear glasses when I’m driving on the road so therefore I would like to have a good pair of prescription sunglasses as well as for fishing and such, I really like Oakley’s Holbrooks with the prism polarized lenses, does anyone know if I can get them with my GEHA insurance?

  • Completely loose clutch on harley?

I have a 84 harley fxsb lowrider, and my clutch is completely loose (when i pull the handle in, it does not spring back out) I have completely followed the clutch from the handle, down the wire, in the transmission with the push rod, and through the clutch and couldn't find any problem, I maxed out the tensioner that is on the cable its self and didnt get even the slightest tension. This morning when I was watching videos of installing the clutch, I noticed that it seems like other peoples push rods sit further out on their harleys than mine, so if I max the cable tensioner AND screw in my adjustment bolt all the way down, so far that I cant even get the nut back on it because its practically flush with the release plate, it finally reaches the push rod and i begin to get some tension in the handle, obviously something isnt right here but I havent the slightest clue what it could be... Im racking my brain on how the push rod could possibly not stick out far enough, I know im not missing anything..

  • Guns similar to Taurus G2C but ambidextrous?

I have a taurus m85 snub nose revolver and i really like it but not for concealed carry. id like a gun that holds more than 5 rounds and doesnt have to be put on safety with a damn key! with a bit of a tight budget, so far the taurus G2C seems like a good gun for this but one problem, im left handed and the safety isn't ambidextrous, which isnt major but i dont want to buy a gun knowing its not suited for me. does anyone know of a gun similar to the g2c and in the same price range which is roughly $220ish but with an abidextrous safety? or possibly something even better in your opinion, keeping in mind i really like the size and style of the G2C

  • I think I fried my laptop?

I have an Acer nitro 5, the other day I plugged in a USB and when I pulled it out, it pulled out the little plastic part that is supposed to be in the port, today I went to plug in my charger without looking and the tip of my charger touched that particular USB port and seems to have completely fried my computer instantly... Is there anything I can do? Was expensive and I really need my computer

  • jack crevalle as bait?

I live in Ormond Beach, Florida and last couple times I went surf fishing and cast netted for bait, all I could pull out was loads of little 3 inch (roughly) or smaller jack crevalles. I m pretty sure there are size limits on these does that mean you can t use them as live bait either? and if you can, are they good bait?
