Why do people like Stevie Nicks (Trouble in Shangri-La 2001) album better than her (Street Angel 1994) album?

I feel as if her voice is aged and nasally in Trouble in Shangri-La much more than Street Angel. I know she got off Klonopin in 1993 right before the Street Angel debuted and she wasn't able to provide as much input as she wanted for the album. That being said her voice is more familiar to me in Street Angel where she still has that strong voice and raspy. I am a Stevie Nicks mega-fan and am wondering others inputs as to why Street Angel failed compared to Trouble in Shangri-La with most people.
