How about somebody who tries to get one over on those dodgy bastards that run that game with the three cups? Or the blokes who do that "Follow the Lady" American swindle? I mean, nobody can beat those guys. Essentially because even if you were to win, they'd likely stab you and take your cash, but that might be a good springboard. I'd approach it with the attitude of: "I'm going to tell you a story about liars and sneaks and thieves and cheats, but it's going to be a lighthearted romp and we're going to have fun with it."
